Does anything in the current Deed prevent your industry group from signing? If so, what are the specific provisions (or gaps), and what is your suggested wording change?
Are there any Deed provisions you consider a barrier to the successful implementation of GIA? If so, what are they and what would you change?
The objective of the Deed is to ‘deliver an integrated approach to prepare for and effectively respond to biosecurity risks.’ Is this the right objective for GIA? If not, what would be better?
Are there any provisions of the Deed you consider confusing or contradictory? If so, what are they, and how would you change it?
Do you have any other comments or suggestions? The DGG is particularly interested in any current Deed provisions industry groups consider a barrier to joining GIA.

Avocado Industry Joins GIA Biosecurity Partnership

The avocado industry have joined the Government Industry Agreement (GIA) biosecurity partnership making them the eighth Signatory to the Deed.
